Two-sided check. A payout is only marked matched when the Stripe record, the bank deposit, and the QuickBooks entry all agree. Anything that doesn’t reconcile stays visible here rather than quietly closing the month.
Today — one account for everything
All eight properties collect into a single Stripe account. Guest money, owner money, and operating funds arrive commingled, so every question — who is owed what, which fee belongs to whom, what to post in QuickBooks — has to be reconstructed after the fact from individual charges. That reconstruction is the manual cleanup.

Timing matters. This is far easier to stand up alongside a platform migration than to retrofit afterwards — the mapping gets built once, while the accounts are being reconnected anyway. Worth deciding the structure before the switch rather than after.

One Stripe account, attributed down to the property. Because every property collects into the same account, "who is owed what" is a tagging problem rather than a balance you can read off. The system attributes each charge to a property and owner, then flags stays that earned money but were never paid out. Fire a payout with one click — money never moves on its own.

One Stripe account per propertyCreated under Fisher 3’s Stripe organization, each connected to that property’s Baselane trust account. Stripe requires the owner to complete identity checks.

Manual payouts on every accountNew accounts default to daily payouts, which makes matching payouts to stays impossible. Money waits in Stripe until released.

Link each listing to its accountThe booking platform charges each listing on the property’s own account automatically.

Test charge every propertyConfirms the money lands in the right Stripe account and pays out to the right trust account. A wrong link is the one real risk.

Cut over on a set dateBookings already paid into the shared account finish on the old sweep. Stripe holds each new account’s first payout for 7–14 days, so pick a slow week.
Needs the right booking platform. Per-property Stripe only works on a platform that lets each listing use its own Stripe account. Lodgify links only one, so this goes live alongside the move off Lodgify, while every payment connection is being rebuilt anyway.
